I am a college student in Illinois.  I intend to double-major in Asian Studies with a Japanese concentration and English Literature.  I'm a geek and over-all Asian History/Beliefs buff, but (contrary to popular belief) I absolutely despise any reference to anime.  Yes, it is culturally significant, but seeing American idiots absolutely obsessed makes me slightly nauseous.

That having been said, I hold nothing but respect for both Tezuka Osamu and Hayao Miyazaki.

Hmm… What else?  I am 6'3”, and have bright red hair.  I played basketball in college (go figure).  I also seem to have an amazingly sarcastic personalty. 

In Short:  It's best to just start out hating me, and then be pleasantly surprised if I'm not that bad.  :P
